Case: Mustasaari swimming pool

High Metal was selected as the pool supplier for Mustasaari’s new swimming hall in the fall of 2022. The project has now come to an end and the opening of the new swimming hall will be celebrated on June 24, 2024. The swimming hall built in connection with Sepänkylä’s Hotel Vallonia serves municipal residents of all ages and swimming lessons for school children.

High Metal designed and manufactured the largest pools of the swimming hall project, i.e. a 25-meter swimming pool, a multipurpose pool, a children’s pool and a water slide. Pool4You acted as the project’s pool and water treatment contractor.

Work on the swimming pool complex began in the winter of 2023. The pool blocks were designed and manufactured at the factory in Vantaa, from where they were moved to Mustasaari for installation in the spring of 2023. The steel pools were built as self-supporting. In the fall of 2023, work continued with the interior work, when the blocks of the pools were welded together and the pools were equipped with splash chutes, inlet nozzles, ladders and railings. The works were completed in the spring of 2024.
