What kind of pools are available?
All pools are drawn and designed according to the customer’s wishes and needs. The designer is also able to easily fulfill all the requirements for accessibility.
Individual pools or their various combinations can be made of stainless-steel.

What material are pools made of?
The pools are made of stainless steel. Stainless-steel is an extremely durable and sturdy material. It can be molded into curved shape, which renders the pool suitable to almost any environment.
The pools are made of acid-resistant steel EN 1.4404 (AISI 316L), whose surface is ground/brushed or eccentrically ground.
Why should you choose a steel swimming pool?
Stainless acid-proof steel is an excellent choice when it comes to realaizing a swimming pool with sustainability in mind. As a material, steel is recyclable and ecological in its qualities. Thanks to its hygienic qualities, stainless-steel swimming pool is not a fertile basis for growth of bacteria or algae.
Are pools made to custom measurement?
A stainless-steel pool is always designed and manufactured to custom measurements, and it can be fitted to the most challenging locations.
What extra equipment are available for swimming pools?
Stainless-steel as a material does not set any constraints for extra equipment or cusomization. Accoding to the Customer’s wishes, the swiming pools can be equipped with several types of nozzles, jets, counter-current equipment, handles, seats or even waterslides or springboards.

Where are the pools made?
All High Metal Oy’s stainless-steel swimming pools are made in Finland.
How long does it take to deliver and install the pool?
The swimming pool is delivered in as a single unit and its installation takes only a few days. Designing and manufacturing will usually take 10 to 20 weeks. If hauling the pool to its destination in one piece is not possible, it can be transported in several units and assembled on the spot by welding the units together. It is farily easy to transform a concrete pool into a stainless-steel pool by installing the steel pool inside the old pool.
Do you need a building permit for the pool?
The need for a construction permit for the pool must be confirmed from the municipality’s building supervision. It depends on whether it is the renovation of an old swimming pool or the construction of a completely new pool, and whether the pool is connected to some other construction.
Do the pools have a warranty and what does it cover?
The pool’s material and leak-proof guarantee is 10 years, when the pool has been cared for according to the care instructions and the water values have been kept within the permitted limits.
How is the pool heated?
The pool water can be heated, for example, with an air-to-water heat pump, electricity or through a heat exchanger with geothermal or district heating. Solar collectors can also be used as an energy source for pool heating.
Is the pool easy to keep clean?
Keeping a stainless-steel swimming pool clean is simple and easy, because of the smooth surface which does not stain or have seams which gather impurities. Thanks to its hygienic qualities, stainless-steel swimming pool is not a fertile basis for growth of bacteria or algae. Maintenance intervals of a stainless-steel pool are long and simple washing is sufficient for keeping the pool nice and tidy.
The smooth surface of stainless-steel does not collect smutch very easily, which in turn prevents the growth of bacteria and algae. Consequently, the usage of pool chemicals can be kept to a mininmum.
How to prepare pool for winter?
The pool can be emptied, silenced from the water or it can be used all year round. If it’s an outdoor pool, the water treatment is planned according to how you want the pool to be winterized. Indoor pools are usually used all year round.
