High Metal manufactured a therapy pool suitable for pool therapy for the Live foundation in Kuopio. A steel swimming pool offers long-term durability and is also ideally suited for rehabilitation activities.
The Live foundation was originally known as the Invalidisäätiö. The foundation has been operating in our country for more than 80 years, and initially it focused on the treatment, education and rehabilitation of those injured in the winter war. The foundation still plays an important role in the development of Finnish health care and education.
Pool therapy, on the other hand, is a form of physical therapy in which, utilizing the therapeutic properties of water, the aim is to exercise and increase the individual’s awareness of their own body and movement. The resistance of the water and the supportive effect make the exercises really effective and they are suitable for e.g. for those suffering from neurological diseases, joint symptoms and muscle weakness.
Our partner/dealer Pool4You was responsible for the water treatment technology.
Pool size: 5 x 3 x 1.5 meters
Additional features: Sliding protective cover
